A WANDERER
A wanderer wandering along life's bumpy trail,
Wonders why things are as they are.
As the wanderer wanders along hill and dale,
She wonders about the twinkling stars.

A wanderer wanders along mountain tops,
She wanders down by the seas.
She wanders and wanders, and tries to stop,
But the wanderlust keeps eating at me.

A wanderer wandering steps off the world
And floats into star-filled space.
She is now wondering about what she sees,
There suddenly appears a handsome face.

A wanderer wonders who this might be,
She is wondering if she should speak?
She wanders away, but He comes her way,
She wonders why would He not leave?

A wanderer wonders Who He is,
Deciding to ask Him, she remains.
The wanderer says to this handsome man,
"I am the wanderer, please tell me your name?"

The wanderer is surprised whenever He speaks,
He says, " I am your Savior and Lord.
My name is Jesus, I have been following you,
And I want you to know you're adored."

The wanderer suddenly bursts into tears,
For she needs to wander no more.
Never again must she wonder if she's loved,
Jesus shall love her forever-more.
