The cottage where I first took you

To tell you of my love,

Is the cottage where we lived,

When we married, before heaven above.

I held you, oh, so gently,

When you became my blushing bride.

My love for you has never ceased,

It has grown and grown inside.

It has been the secret of our long marriage

For there, we gave our love in kind.

And it has lasted for twenty years,

Love for you is always on my mind.

This first cottage represents to me,

That you shall forever be mine,

And, My Darling, I shall always be yours,

For eternity, and through-out time.
