I WILL WORK FOR THE LORD
Whatever the Lord wants me to do,
I will have to obey,
For He won't ever let me be,
By night or by day.
Sometimes, just like Jonah,
I want to run and hide,
But where, yes, where could I go,
Without the Lord by my side?
When the Lord calls my name,
Can I turn a deaf ear?
No, I must always answer His call,
And keep Him ever near.
For Christ is my strength,
My all in all.
Without Him to guide me,
I am doomed to fall.
But guide me, He will,
Always holding my hand,
Leading me onward, as upward I go
To my home in Glory Land.
