IF SOMEONE

If someone were to unexpectedly say to you,
"The angels will be coming for you soon."
Would you think you were hearing things,
Or would you hurry right out of the room?

As I was working, as I do each day,
I often pray as my work is being done.
Suddenly, an inner voice spoke to my heart,
"The angels will be coming for you soon."

I thought about it, after I had left the room,
I knew Who it was that had spoken to me.
It became very precious to me then,
I held it in my heart, and didn't tell anyone.

Three days passed, and this last Saturday night,
I told my husband that I had a surprise for him the next day,
On Sunday I told him what was spoken to me,
And it made him as happy as he could ever be.

So, you see, my friends, when the angels come for me,
I shall be so very, very ready to go.
I shall see my Jesus' Face, and kneel before His mighty grace,
And know Him, as here, I cannot know.
