LAST DANCE

Our last dance has not been danced, my Darling,

Even though you flew home on wings of gold.

Our last dance has been danced on earth, my Dear,

But our arms shall entwine in heaven as we behold

Our love for each other come to life again,

Your arms shall hold me, and it shall be so sweet.

You shall guide me 'cross all the stars in heaven, Love,

The dance we dance shall truly be complete.

Remember how we would seek each other,

Whenever the music started at the dance?

It shall be that way forever and ever,

There shall be no asking me for the last dance.
