LITTLE CHILDREN

"Become as little children.", We are told in Jesus' Word,
I have often wondered why he said this to grown men?
I've thought about it, then I saw what a little child is truly like.
A child is loving, trusting, takes what is offered without asking why,
And always asks for what he desires, fully expecting to receive.

These are the qualities that Jesus wants from His followers.
We constantly disqualify ourselves with our own thoughts, do we not?
Or I do, at least...I think, "I will ask Jesus about this, or that...then think,
Oh, no, I should not ask Him this, for I told a white lie, even though I
asked forgiveness for it, He still may hold it against me. See what I am
doing? I am NOT GIVING JESUS HIS DUE...I AM LIMITING
HIM BY HUMAN THINKING, AND THIS IS WRONG, VERY WRONG."

We are to go to His Word, find what He has to say about a subject;
hurt, anger, adultery, disobedient children, or whatever is befalling us,
pray His Word to Him, then act upon that Word, for it shall
last forever, my friend. For He says that in Heaven, His Word shall
be honored above His Name...and that is truly something, for HE IS KING
OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS; HE IS OUR SOON-COMING KING; HE
SHALL GATHER HIS OWN AND TAKE US TO BE WITH HIM FOREVER,
FOR HE IS THE RISEN SON OF THE LIVING GOD, JESUS, THE CHRIST.
