MY WINGS
I knew You were gently there,
Of You, I was greatly aware,
Yet, I did not see You.
I sensed, from the very start,
Here, in my deepest heart,
I would always need You.
When softest breezes blew,
I noticed how gently I felt You,
Move, so sweetly, within my spirit.
Time passed and knowledge grew,
That I must soon come to You,
Eagerly, I looked forward to it.
One single, sweet moment in time,
You came for me, Oh, You are so sublime.
You, Lord, lifted me with your gentle
Wind beneath my wings.
You, Alone, came for me with Your Holy Wind beneath my wings.
