ONE AND ONLY

The Sages say," Into each life some rain must fall."

Yet, I know there is snow, hail and dew.

But none of these things affect my life,

Because of my "One and Only", you.

Others say that we are not matched,

Whatever they meant, it made me blue.

But this I realized from the start,

You are my "One and Only", you.

I decide whom it is that I shall adore,

And know that you do, too.

To each his own, they say, "To each his own."

Yet, my "One and Only", is you.

Into each life some strife must come,

To teach control, and how to be true.

To each his own, they say, " To each his own."

But my "One and Only Darling", is you.

If you make the same decision?

The same one that I made about you.

If you decide not to love me at all,

Still and all, my "One and Only", is you.
