RAINBOW DRIVE
One day, quite some time ago, My Love and I were taking a drive, And enjoying the beautiful scenery, When, what do you think arrived?
There, right in front of our car Was a beautiful rainbow's end, We wondered if we should stop, Or hurry right on in.
We decided to drive through the glorious sight, The colors were so vividly alive, Yes, we drove through the rainbow's end, And we did, most certainly, survive.
The colors were so radiant and glowing, We wanted to stop and stare, But we decided to drive through it slowly, And see if the pot of gold was there!
We moved forward, ever so gently, Surrounded by colors so glowingly alive, I shall always remember my Love and I, Taking the glorious rainbow drive.
No gold was found at the end of it, But richer things were created there, In the minds of my Love and I, Were memories, lovely memories to share.
Since that day, my Love has flown away Into the beautiful rainbow skies. He knows that I shall meet him there, When my "rainbow" time arrives.
