This lovely rose was sent to me by Frank.  He has since gone
on to be with the Lord, and we do miss him so very much.

THE ROSE

How magnificent is the beauty,
Of one single, lovely rose,
With dew dripping from closed petals,
Sun shining, diamonds all aglow.

One single, lovely rose,
Open petals to noonday sun,
Showing unmatched glory,
To be seen by all, or none.

The rose, one single lovely rose,
Covered with evening's dew,
Reminds me, always, of my love,
Sweet, everlasting love for you.

Even when, at noonday sun,
The petals open wide,
It sings to me of my special love,
The love I carry, softly, inside.

How magnificent is the beauty,
Of one single, glorious rose.
Such wondrous love it signifies,
You and I, and Heaven, know.
