SOFTLY

Softly, he touches me with his words,
Softly, he touches me with his kindness,
Oh, what gentleness my love gives to me.
He gives to me such floating clouds of love.

He enters my secret garden with
compassion,
He enwraps me within his golden arms of love.
He whispers softly to me of his love for me,
He kisses me softly, as feathers of a dove.
Softly, he tells me sweet and tender
things,
Softly, he teaches me of things I have not heard.
Softly, he talks to me of wondrous things,
Softly, he tells me his great love for me is unheard.

He walks the soft path of moss to my
garden,
He takes my hand to hold on our mossy path.
He talks of lovely things, of golden rings,
He softly tells me our love shall 'ever last.
