WINTER'S CARESSES
The winds of winter caress her as she moves slowly,
And absorbs the beauty around her.
The "White Beauty" surrounds every move she makes,
Her footsteps are slow and carefully placed.
Winter's caresses brush her hair from her face,
Laughingly sending it flying into the air.
The winds caress her cheeks, her lips,
And leave her breathless there.
The snow blossoms of the white snow tree,
fly freely, as a bird arises with the breeze.
She is touched by the white snow blossoms
That protect her from winter's freeze.
Winter's caresses blow softly, kissing her eyelids,
She absorbs the lovely breeze with joy.
But the caresses blow her wrap away from her body,
She grasps it closely, and keeps it from blowing away.
Winter's caresses adore the beauty they touch,
Her hair of black, her skin like cream,
Eyes black as those of a dove.
Winter's caresses think of her as their dream.
She loves the feeling of the winter's caresses,
Her face glows with inner light.
The winter's caresses are filling her
With such sweet and lovely delight.
